AtAO365 we want to make contributions that we know first hand are needed, and want to offer some that are well deserved by the people who live with the day-to-day challenges of autism! It is not easy staying "positive" about our situation, and when you add to it financial burdens and limited resources, offering our loved ones a slice of the "normal life" pie by taking them to an amusement park, or ballgame, or even being able to buy their favorite snacks without sacrificing your lights, seems beyond our reach. WE GET IT! We can't make it go away, but we want to be able to give someone HOPE! We want our contributions to say, "HOLD ON"..."TRUST GOD"..."BREATHE"!

THERAPY
Outsourced treatment for Occupational Therapy; Speech; Physical Therapy; Yoga Therapy; and Aquatic Therapy for many households is beyond their financial means, but a very beneficial resource! We want to support selected families with the cost of the initial observation and a minimum of 5 of the recommended treatments.

We APPsolutely want to be as easily accessible to you as we possibly can, and as an APP, AO365 has the potential to connect our services to your needs no matter where you are! Access your saved data, check/amend developmental goals and share them immediately with his/her teachers and/or therapist, and so much more! Help us catch-up with technology and take a "swipe" at reaching as many families as we can!
We understand all to well how quickly bills can add up, and the embarrassment of having services disconnected, reduced, or eliminated all together. We want to provide selected individual households with a little "relief". Contributions made to this PRAYER REQUEST will be applied towards electrical; gas & light; water, or cable/dish bills with two months or more delinquency or disconnected/reconnect fees! All payments will be made directly to the service provider.
Every year the cost of living increases for "renters as well as "homeowners", and this increase often times put families in a no-win situation. Transitioning to a new place for autistic individuals can be extremely challenging and sometimes even a set-back/regression. This PRAYER REQUEST will assist families who are delinquent on their payments by 2 months or more or about to be/have been evicted and need 2 months payment to stop proceedings against them or acquire new housing. All payments are made directly to the landlord, management company, or mortgage company.
Help a selected family make a "fast-break" from the stressors and challenges of their life. From our experience, some activities that would other wise be considered overly-stimulating, actually helped with his "emotional regulation"! It helped with my emotional regulation too! Contributions made to this PRAYER REQUEST will be applied towards FAST...FUN ADVENTURES!
The title of this request says it all! As a single parent the day to day challenges of my son's spectrum can be defeating and overwhelming. I am often held to a very strict routine and deviating from that can cause stressors/triggers! So much of a caretaker's time is spent on their responsibility to others, that we neglect to take time for ourselves! I personally struggle with this, and when I am not at my best, then I am no good for my son! Contributions made to this PRAYER REQUEST will be applied towards helping an autistic care provider Relax...Release... and Revive! Rewards will be in the form of a gift card from selected spa/salon locations.

Why We Ask For Your Help!
Thankfully, there are many organizations that provide useful information and support to autistic families, and should be commended for their works and efforts. The unfortunate side of some of these organizations are some of the "rules" that limit who they give help to! This is not an attempt to disparage any organization, but to share our experience and explain why we want to help others, and the ways we want to do it!

MY STORY:
I was on a waiting list for an "official diagnosis" for 5 years because I couldn't afford an appointment at the office of the doctor's private practice ($1500). My appointment was for when he worked at a designated location based on income. During the 5 year wait I felt so helpless, and like many, I reached out to a few organizations for assistance (some of which are major advertisers). I didn't qualify for their services, because at that time my son was on a government assisted insurance program! I couldn't understand how an insurance "type" could exclude me from their help. If I had the financial means to have major insurance and cover the cost of treatments that they wouldn't...I wouldn't be seeking their help! I thought they were organizations established to service those who were financially challenged and couldn't afford the necessities to support their autistic loved one, but instead they exclude "us". I ended up paying $800 for an "observation review" to receive the IEP services my son needed to start school, and much more for outsourced treatment. We didn't have a diagnosis until he was 9 years old. In a time when I needed them the most, I felt so rejected by these groups, and lost in how to go forward.
